Zouzoom Capable Of Creating A Boom At 15/1 Each Way

Coonamble R2 is shaping up as a good value betting affair where we have identified some decent value near the top end of our ratings for this race.

We have got it down to 2 major winning chances being Zouzoom 16.0 / 4.2 and Whitsunday 2.60. We have those two runners rated equal on top. Also close up in the rating is one other runner at decent double figure odds Little Leena 13.0 / 3.7.

We will be backing Zouzoom as the value way to play this race with a decent degree of confidence for a winning result backing it straight out each way at the 16.0 / 4.2

The 3yo Zizou gelding has speed top and bottom in his pedigree being out of a Kenny’s Best Pal mare who has produced 7 winners from 8 other runners all showing their best over sprinting trips and a few of them with clearly above average ability.

His trial 2nd to Narrow Neck Nelson was visually good and some of the form stands up strongly. He got the hardest front end trip in that trial and went to line under own steam clearly go as good if not better than anything else which all got easier trips.

Happy to overlook Dubbo failure on debut last time out, merely helps create the value price on offer here.

No doubting the Hinchinbrook 3yo filly Whitsunday deserves respect as the equal top rated conternder but the 2.60 they want to bet early is ridiculously short.

So lets play Zouzoom here from an each way value perspective angle here in early fixed odds betting and potentially revisit backing the equal top elect Whitsunday once the market takes more serious shape closer to post time on Monday, who knows it might get out to 5/2 or 3/1 if we cross our fingers.

Coonamble Race 2 #4 Zouzoom each way at 16.0 / 4.2
