AFL Preview – Friday 9 June, Adelaide vs St Kilda

Adelaide vs St Kilda, Adelaide Oval, 7:50pm. Friday 9 June

In what looks an easy win for Adelaide ($1.15) on paper we think we have the best betting option for tonight’s game.

Adelaide never looked like winning against Geelong last week at Simonds stadium so will be looking to bounce back in front of their home crowd.

St Kilda is coming off a weeks break and will be looking to atone after two poor losses heading into their week off.

Adelaide have been strong all year but when they have been defeated they have looked very poor, Nth Melbourne kicked 10 goals to nothing in the first quarter when they defeated Adelaide.

This proves that all isn’t perfect at Adelaide and they can be scored heavily against if they aren’t going at 100%.

St Kilda on the other hand are coming off two losses,Sydney and the Bulldogs respectively with the bye last week coming at the perfect time.

St Kilda would of had a good look at the way Geelong defeated Adelaide last week and it wouldn’t surprise us if the Saints pushed Adelaide all the way.

St Kilda hasn’t been known for their interstate form but where very good earlier in the year when they should of beaten the Eagles in Perth.

St Kilda have a good side on paper and get some key personal back in Josh Bruce and Jimmy Webster who will help out in defence.

Adelaide are the obvious favourites and deservedly so but teams coming off the break in recent years have generally performed very well.

Our betting option for tonight’s game is:
Back Adelaide to win 0-39 points @ $2.40
Have a saver bet on St Kilda to win @ $5.50
