Another big day of quality racing action from Sha Tin on Sunday and we look to set the standard amongst the tipping elite bringing you another full card preview of the meeting.
Sha Tin R2 #1 Ivictory – Impressive at first career start for top trainer John Size over 1000m. He is bred for speed out of sire Mossman who has produced four G1 winners all at 1200m which Ivictory steps up to today. Ivictory was very strong through the line indicating he will relish the rise in trip and will obviously strip a lot fitter now 2nd up. He looks a progressive type who might be way to good for these and we should see him make his way through the grades soon. Stays at class 4 today in a race that lacks depth. Clear top pick.
Sha Tin R3 #5 Rewarding Flyer – He has been a model of consistency at his last three starts for leading trainer John Moore having been placed at all three. He looks to have found a very winnable race here in a race that lacks depth. He gets in very well after the smart claim and we expect him to roll forward and race on the speed in a race that lacks pace. He has been competitive in stronger class races before and if can produce somewhere near his best here after a freshen up he should be very hard to beat. He looks a very strong each/way play.
Sha Tin R4 #1 Multimax – Multimax drops in class here after being super competitive in stronger class 3 company of late. He has drawn well in gate 6 and with his customary good gate speed we expect him to take up the lead here. All 5 career wins have been over the 1200m and he gets in well after the 2.5kg claim. Ticks all the box’s and will be awfully hard to catch in what looks a suitable race down in grade.
Sha Tin R5 #2 Prawn Baba $9/$2.90– Prawn Baba drops in grade and distance and looks well placed to score an overdue win after being competitive in good company. Produced a strong run 4 back when winning over 1800m and then jumped to G1 company but was outclassed. Competitive last start in G3 when going around at a big price but comes back to class 2 company here and looks well placed. Only 9 runners in a race with limited chance and that has Prawn Baba a strong each/way bet at the value price.
